| Working for an International Utilities business based in Surrey our client requirement is for an Oracle DBA. The role is for both Development DBA and Production DBA function for utilities projects. You will be working with a current mix of Oracle 9 and Oracle 10 databases are being moved into Oracle 10G and eventually Oracle 11G upon release. You will be expected to have Performance Tuning and PL/SQL skills and be able to effectively communicate with the Developers. There will be some XML feed work so any exposure to XML Publisher or XML Application Express will be a huge desirable but is not essential. To apply for this role you must have: substantial Oracle DBA experience which includes production DBA and development DBA experience. Strong communication skills as this is a business facing role.
