My client, a large technical company, requires an experienced Technical Support Engineer to work in the customer service department. As you are the customers 1st point of contact my client requires someone who is very customer focused. You will need an excellent telephone manner to lead the customer through the problem and solution using uncomplicated vocabulary over the telephone, Internet forum or by email. As such a technical background and a good understanding of electronic and software products is required. Previous design or product testing experience would be an advantage. The role will involve assisting customers to install software, setup their equipment and resolve technical problems. Full product training will be given. The role will also include helping to test and evaluate new products and software updates as part of the company s ongoing development commitment.
