Must have a very good knowledge & be technically competent in the following areas: Siemens & Nortel TDM switch build & configuration, Siemens/Nortel/Avaya ACD solutions Converged IP Switches build & configuration, BT WAN & LAN products & services, Secure Network architecture. Job responsibilities: to produce Managed Network Design Summaries (MNDS) and/or design notes to support the migration of Voice services onto the DFTS (F) Common Core Platform. To produce Managed Network Design Summaries (MNDS) and/or design notes to support the design & delivery of the Enhanced Secure Speech Services for DFTS. To produce Managed Network Design Summaries (MNDS) and/or Design Notes to support new Voice services for DFTS. To provide technical support for the integration of new voice networks into the existing and/or new DFTS voice network. To build & configure new sites and/or produce technical configuration documents to support supplier requirements. To document delivery & thru-life cost by completing Cost Collection Template (CCT) documents for service build. |
