| Infrastructure Support - Middleware - Unix and Windows Scripting. My client are a global financial services company with offices in Milton Keynes. They are currently looking to employ a Infrastructure Support Engineer. Middleware. Unix/Windows Scripting. Role: my clients infrastructure services team are responsible for infrastructure support for various Middleware technologies deployed within the company. The team responsibilities include the installation, configuration and support of WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere MQ and Tuxedo environments on both Unix and Windows platforms. Their team works closely with the development areas deploying and supporting several mission critical banking systems which utilise the latest Web based technologies. Experience in product installation, administration, configuration, deployment, troubleshooting and Scripting. The ability to complete tasks in a pressurised and demanding environment both as an individual and as part of a highly motivated team is a must. Technical skills: essential: basic Unix & Windows admin/Scripting. Desirable: WebSphere Application Server. MQ version 5 & 6. Tuxedo administration 6.5/8.0. Basic knowledge of Web technologies.
