Title: 1st Line Support Engineer

Description:
The client a large worldwide large telecomms company. Role and responsibilities: first line Support Engineer will be part of the technical team reporting to the Technical Manager. They will need to work closely with the other teams in the company inputting where appropriate. 1st line support to answer customer queries via telephone or email. To work with logistics to operate the RMA service including testing and repair. Help in the creation and updating of test documentation for each product. To test new codes and features on both existing and new hardware. Escalate problems to 2nd/3rd line when necessary. To replicate problems with test equipment. Provide support to the sale team where appropriate. Essential skills: good working networking TCP/IP knowledge, good general computer literacy. Good understanding of multiple desktop operation systems including window s, MAC, Linux. Experience of MS Office applications. Desirable skills high grade telephone manner. Customer service skills. Full clean driving license. Valid passport.
