| My client is a global leader in IT who currently require a Technology Manager for one of its leading accounts focusing on the Internet/IPTV industry. The Technology Team Manager is responsible for the technical design for all infrastructures & applications. They will ensure technical strategy & design meets current & near term business needs through effective interfacing with technology product. They will be responsible for the management of quality assurance, tech architecture & provide support to all areas of pre sales. The job holder will be expected to develop an operations plan for their area of responsibility to ensure the overall business plan is met. Monitor & report on progress & contribute to the development of the Internet operations business plan for future years. Experience: experience in a similar role at a management level. Significant experience across a range of Internet technology. Evidence of successful design and implementation of technical standards. Evidence of successful delivery of pre sales technical support. Experience in development of technical strategy. Knowledge: strong understanding of Unix & MS/Intel-based Web infrastructures, IP based networks and systems engineering. Strategic architectural design expertise. Experienced in developing Web architectures for hosting, streaming and E-business applications. Experienced in developing engineering designs for networks, Servers, Firewalls. |
