Introduction
Working in a large organisation in a Windows 2003 environment, a 1st Line Support Engineer / Helpdesk person is required to provide support where possible.
Job specification
A Helpdesk, 1st Line Support Engineer is needed by a large organisation based in Renfrewshire, Scotland. Working in a customer support role, you will be taking the IT helpdesk calls, solving them if possible, or escalating them to the next level. You will also be responsible for creating a monthly report on problems raised. You will be working in a Microsoft environment, and therefore must have experience of Windows 2003 and Microsoft Office. Experience of Citrix and VPN is also beneficial. Working in an organisation of 2000 staff, this role offers a fantastic opportunity, and a stakeholder pension scheme. Please be aware that this role is not commutable via public transport, and offers a salary of £18,000 - £22,000.
