| Senior IT Support / IT Manager - Redditch, Birmingham. Rare role here for a leading player in the automotive industry that is BOOMING in the West Midlands. The successful candidate will be joining a profitable 20+ site company and cater for the needs of circa 300 end IT users. Within the role the successful candidate will be comfortable in managing a variety of Windows 2000/2003 servers, some UNIX administration and network support. Cisco networking and the administration of routers and switches will also be utilised within this varied and exciting role. Other crucial technical areas cover Citrix support and administration along with the travel to other sites across the UK. This will include maintaining all systems and keeping a strong relationship and presence across the group. The successful candidate will ideally have a solid experience of taking a lead in the ownership and technical management of all IT systems and also be a professional in the approach in dealing with third party suppliers, other team members and companies that comprise of the overall group.
