| Group IT Manager - Top Co! - Birmingham, West Midlands. Massive opportunity here! You will be taking a leading responsibility in the technical infrastructure management, project management and man-management of a lively and fast paced Birmingham sales/retail company. The successful candidate will be involved with the development and installation of IT systems covering Windows 2000/2003, even the involvement of SQL Server 2000/2005 database design. Network and network support will also be required from the successful candidate. This is more than an infrastructure based manager role and you will be responsible for the man and budget management of the whole multi-site environment. You will have approximately 10 direct reports and you will have to pioneer future projects possibly covering web-based work and looking after web designers etc. This is a faced paced on-line sales company who`s profits are `going through the roof`! An experience and knowledge of the telecommunications industry will be useful as will a more than solid experience of management both technically and man-manage exposure.
