| Role: Technical Support Engineer (TSE) who truly understands the meaning of world-class customer service and global technical support. Work closely with product groups to understand and solve live site issues, technical operations to address production Server issues, and with other Platform technology teams to solve software issues. Duties: troubleshoot online content, publishing systems, API's and related advertising tools. Serve as a second tier troubleshooter and escalation point for all issues. Create and run advanced SQL queries. Participate in conference calls with sales and advertising clients. Essential: experience in a support or development organization, preferably in the online industry for a high volume commercial Website or service. Strong understanding of Internet trends and industry players. A strong understanding of Windows Media Video and Flash streaming media (v6 and up) preferred. Paid search experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of search engines and search engine marketing preferred. Technical: relevant experience, including work with ASP, HTML, IIS. Experience using at least two of the following: .NET (C#), Java, JavaScript, Perl, PHP, XML. SQL required; must demonstrate ability to manipulate data rapidly, use complex joins, etc. travel up to 15%, overnight support needed on rota basis. |
