One of our largest clients currently requires a systems integrator / administrator to consolidate all Hardware and Software in one purpose built centre. The successful individual will be expected to support and administer the existing UNIX infrastructure as well as design and plan the move to the new Datacentre.The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the following technologies:· HP & Sun Solaris Administration· AIX Systems Administration · HACMP clustering experience and writing scripts· VeritasAdditional attributes that the ideal candidate will also possess are:· A demonstrable planning skills in association with change controls· The ability to design the technical architecture.· The willingness to work flexibly as the role will include travel to other UK locations.You will be primarily responsible for:· Performing checks on the infrastructure· Architecture designAssist in operating system upgrades, firmware updates, installation, configurations etc
