| Our Midlands and Yorkshire Based client requires an ITIL Qualified Service Manager.Required Skills: Service management + ITIL + Application Development background Role information: We are urgently seeking a number of experienced Service Managers to join a major project with a Financial Service Sector client. The Service Manager will have the following responsibilities for the project related with application developement.- Responsible for managing the service for our hosted solutions- Regular calls/review meetings with clients - ability to build goodrelationships- Responsible for monthly reporting to clients- Responsible for ensuring we meet/exceed SLA'sBased in Bradford, frequent travel to Nottingham may be requiredBackground information about the project- Windows based solutions- Multiple components (Client, Server, MQSeries, Web technologies etc)- Integration into clients systems - API's, MQSeries, FTP etc- Multiple platforms (Windows, Unix etc) - currently main focus is Windows- Multiple databases (Oracle, Microsoft etc) - Currently mainly flat files,some Microsoft SQL- General shortage of staff across all areas- Both software sales (hosted at the clients site) and hosted solutionslocated in both Bradford and Nottingham- Systems are critical to the clients business- Large financial clients (Banks, Building Societies, Telecoms companiesetc)- All positions to be located in the Bradford office located in the centre |
