North West based Government Department requires a Desktop, Server, Network manager. Desktop, Server and Network support and delivery for Testing, Training and liaison as expert for project delivery with suppliers. Enabling and Support to achieve successful delivery of RM release 2.2 and 2.3.Timely support and input into accessibility testing and to act as an enabler to delivery Microsoft accredited. Full understanding of Desktop, Software installation, maintenance and housekeeping and experience of networks. Must be accustomed to civil service practices. Microsoft, Networks Norcross, Blackpool The successful candidate should possess the following:-1 Hands on desktop and server skill demonstrated for development, maintenance and support in a complex Microsoft environment. 2 Thorough understanding of networks, firewalls, switches in a challenging network environment. 3 Tenacity to resolve problems and pursue activities from start to completion, under pressure and within agreed timescales 4 Demonstrate a clear understanding of DWP or Civil Service working practices including working in a multi-supplier environment 5 Experience of Oracle11i or large COTS implementations, Desktop tools and Accessibility tools
