Job Description:

Major ICT Company working based in Strathclyde Business Park (Bellshill, Glasgow) have launched new and exciting web-based pilot project with massive potential and require highly motivated Second (2nd) line support advisers to provide technical telephone support.
The role involves the resolution and management of technical support issues and requires a high degree of problem ownership and resolution.
Candidates must have the following technical skills and experience:
•Experience of supporting Windows 2000 / 2003 networks and associated client operating systems, mainly Windows XP – specifically active directory, GPO and deployment via MSI.
•Networking – ip addressing, listening state port numbers, internet connectivity and local network technologies inc. hubs, switches, etc.
•Experience of internet/intranet connectivity and web-based technologies – specifically knowledge or URL structure, browser security, browser to proxy communication and authentication methods.

Skills:
|
Candidates must have the following technical skills and experience:

•Experience of Java development tools, MySQL, Apache/Tomcat, HTML, JSP & Javascript.
•Industry recognized certification – W2000 or W2003 MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA/CCIE, RHCE, CompTIA Linux+ Certification. |
