They are looking for a Desktop Hardware Specialist to manage an ongoing programme of work to ensure that PC hardware provided to their internal & mobile computing teams remain within their service catalogue. You need to have demonstrated an expert capability in managing & supporting large-scale technical implementations. You also need proven experience in resource planning & management to achieve project or programme objectives. You need proven experience with the following desktop technologies: MS XP operating system, Remote Installation Server, MS SMS 2003, MS Active Directory. You need to have the ability to coordinate multiple projects affecting a whole desktop estate.
