| Oracle DBA/Database Administrator/Bristol/Avon/South West England. Government sector client based in Oracle DBA to come on board for a 3 month contract, based in Bristol. You will be installing, configuring, upgrading, administration, maintaining and monitoring Oracle databases. The role will involve monitoring database activity and components, initiating regular exercises to optimise database performance and ensuring that database and application problems are investigated, diagnosed and resolved. Skills: strong Oracle skills versions 8i, 9i and 10g. The ideal candidate will take a logical, analytical approach to problem solving and pay close attention to detail.
