| Digital design, microcontrollers, memory, FPGA, ADC, Analogue circuits, FPGA code design in VHDL, PCB, EMC, Microprocessor, My client, a scientific instruments company, requires a Hardware Development Engineer with relevant hands-on experience of high speed analogue and digital design. Main responsibilities will be designing circuits for new products and updating existing products. Required experience: digital design with microcontrollers, memory, FPGA and ADCs in excess of 50MHz. Analogue circuits for data acquisition (ideally greater than 20MHz). FPGA code design in VHDL. PCB layout for performance and EMC compliance (ideally hands on experience). Product architectural design (functional specifications and block diagrams). Microprocessor firmware design (for basic hardware configuration and control).
