| Windows Systems Engineer/Server Support Analyst - Infrastructure. Large financial services organisation requires a Windows Systems Engineer/Server Support Analyst - Infrastructure. About the job: the role is within the Central Server Management team which supports a large scale Windows Server infrastructure running a diverse range of business applications in our data centres. We support Windows NT, 2000 & 2003 Servers running on approximately 800 Servers ranging from 2-32 CPU's. All Servers utilise a standard suite of systems management tools and are managed alongside our other Mainframe and Unix platforms. Responsibilities: you will be required to design new Server infrastructures to support new business applications. Implementation of new Windows Servers and related Infrastructure supporting business applications. Support/maintenance of existing Windows Server infrastructure including patching and patch management. Technical skills: experience of Windows NT, 2000 and 2003 ideally in a large scale, data centre environment. Active Directory. Citrix/terminal services. IIS 5.0/6.0. |
