Helpdesk/Desktop Support/Microsoft Windows / Active Directory/ 27K
1st Line Support/ Helpdesk support person with 2nd line support exposure is required by a major, London based financial/investment organisation. You will provide both 1st Line and 2nd Line support PC Hardware & Printers, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, Active Directory and Outlook. You should have Helpdesk support experience with HEAT or similar helpdesk software.
It is very important that that have come from a Professional Services background, i.e. financial services, investment banking, law firm, blue chip etc..
You should have at least 2 years experience of working in a Helpdesk support environment, logging calls, creating passwords and general 1st Line support. 2nd line support experience is a bonus but not essential.
The role itself is a fantastic one. You will provide both 1st Line/Helpdesk support and 2nd Line support. This role is split. You will be required to take calls on the helpdesk and answer any queries that users have over the phone. However you will also be required to provide 2nd Line Support. This means you will be involved in software installation, repairing PC's, therefore providing both hardware and software support.
